Welcome to the Rileys Review
Watched Welcome to the Rileys starring James Gandolfini, Kristen Stewart, and Academy Award winner Melissa Leo. The film was very good and surprisingly moving. The script is sometimes a little weak, but makes this exploration of grief surprisingly uplifting. The directing was very well done with perfectly nice scenery of New Orleans. The performances all around are the finest and genuine by James Gandolfini, Kristen Stewart, and Melissa Leo. I was very surprised of what a great performance Kristen Stewart gave in this film, which is one of her best performance to date. This film was just very well cast and nicely acted, with a cliche character development. The film itself is a character-driven movie about grief, depression, and the way out of both of them through love. I will give it an B+.
