The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo Review.
Watched The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo starring 007's Daniel Craig and the 2010 remake of A Nightmare on Elm Street's Rooney Mara. The film was good and entertaining, but I believe the Swedish film to be a more superior film. It had better acting, more appropriate casting, a rounder narrative that fleshed out the characters, their relationships, and their histories better, and a better score. This version was still absolutely very incredible, Absorbing, emotional, and satisfying film with captivating performances by Rooney Mara with a completely incredible transformation to become Lisbeth. I still think the original Lisbeth Noomi Rapace's (Sherlock Holmes 2: A Game of Shadows) was much more better and darker than Rooney Mara's performance. This remake is still basically the same as the original Swedish film scene by scene, but David Fincher directed this remake with such passion and excellency. The script and dialogue were good, but I thought it had a few little plot holes. The first half of the film was very slow paced and it lagged a little bit, but I still though it was a great remake and I will give it a B+.

My Week with Marilyn Review.
Watched My Week with Marilyn starring Michelle Williams and Kenneth Branagh. I Thought the film was very entertaining and The script and dialogue was very smartly written with a great director. The best thing about the film was Michelle Williams who plays Monroe with a stunning, captivating performance. Williams perfectly embodies Marilyn Monroe's nervous anxiety, lack of self confidence, constant need for approval, and ability to charm. I believe Michelle Williams will win the Academy Award for best actress as the iconic blond bombshell. Kenneth Branagh and Judi Dench were such a delightful and memorable in their supporting roles in the film. The film itself was awesomely amazing, heart breaking and great story. The film did lack a little bit in the script and dialogue, but the film was still very entertaining and extremely well acted with a excellent director. The film was funny and just completely amazing film. I will give it an A-.

Martha Marcy May Marlene Review
Watched Martha Marcy May Marlene starring Elizabeth Olsen, John Hawkes, and Hugh Dancy. The film was an excellent disturbing psychological thriller worth watching because of its brilliant and solid script, but the cast was mainly the core of the film. The Olsen Twin's younger sister Elizabeth Olsen just delivers a fierce and stellar performance and I wouldn't be surprised if she gets an Academy Award for best actress or at the very least an Oscar nomination for this role. The actor who never seems to disappoint is John Hawkes who depicts a scary yet seductive cult leader. the film has one of the best performances i have seen all year. The film has an intriguing and subtly complex screenplay, a strong and confident direction , and the character development of these characters were very well developed. The film itself was deeply unsettling, yet nicely understated, character study with a perfectly ambiguous ending. This film was just a beautiful masterpieces and I will give it an A++++.

Footloose Original (1984) Review
Watched Footloose (1984) starring Kevin Bacon, Lori Singer, John Lithgow, Christopher Penn and Sarah Jessica Parker. The film had great character development for every character in the film. The acting was believable, convincing, and well acted. Its plot and dialogue was well done, it's entertaining, and best of all, it has awesome music. Another good thing about the movie is the speech that Ren makes concerning the dance at the end, it was very convincing and very well preached with passion. It was very well directed, and the movie features some good dancing. John Lithgow and Kevin bacon gave one fine and excellent performances. The opening sequence alone was great with a bunch of feet dancing showcasing the great footwear of the 80's to the soundtrack song "Footloose". the dance sequences where well choreographed and the songs were great and the script writers even managed to add in some humorous bits sprinkled through out. The film itself was just a fun movie that I'm sure you'll have fun with. It's charming, it's funny, it's just a blast to watch, and it's an 80's classic. I will give it an A.

Dolphin Tale Review.
Watched Dolphin Tale starring Ashley Judd, Morgan Freeman and Harry Connick Jr. The film was earnest, sweet, and well-told, which makes it a rare family film. I really enjoyed the plot, which is about the human condition of a young boy who becomes best friends with a dolphin in need of a tail. The plot is an inspirational film, and even though it sometimes felt cliche and they had a boring sub plot about a crippled cousin, the movie ends up being fun and worth watching. The film does have a great storyline, superb acting, lots of funny moments, great characters, heartwarming moments, exceptional music and drama. The film was directed perfectly and it was just a great inspiring movie. I will give it an A.
Dream House Review.
Watched Dream House starring 007's Daniel Craig, Naomi Watts, and Rachel Weisz. The film had excellent performances by the lead actors and was well acted. The film itself was not that scary, but it told a decent story. Their were a few interesting elements but the plot wants so badly to be convoluted that it even forgets to be coherent or plausible. This film reminds me of Leonardo DiCaprio's Shutter Island, but Dream House fails to be as excellent as Shutter Island. The only thing that save this film was the incredible acting of it's leads and the great directing of the film. the dialogue and script was weak and lazy to come up with a great story. I will give it a C-.
Paranormal Activity 3 Review.
Watched Paranormal Activity 3. I thought the movie used predictable and cliche recycled tricks to scary people, for example , the whole door closing by itself or a babysitter getting attacked. the whole thing has been done before get new tricks to scared people. The film its self was not scary at all, but it did bring some jolts and thrills on some parts of the film. The plot of the story was weak with a ludicrous back story, but the directing was great. The acting in this film was good especially from the two young girls. The film did not bring anything knew to the table just the same old predictable and cliche tricks. I will give it a D+.

The Thing Review
Watched The Thing starring Mary Elizabeth Winstead and Joel Edgerton. I though it was a good prequel to the 1982 film. I also thought the film offers a similar overall experience to the 1982 film without replicating styles and situations. I did not think the film was scary, but it does offer a lot of chills and thrills. Mary Elizabeth Winstead stands out with her portrayal of a paleontologist. She keeps a cool, logical head whilst others around her start to panic. The special effects of this film was great and the scenery of Antarctica an extraordinary continent of awesome beauty. I thought it was very entertaining, with a superb leads and supporting acting performances. I like how the ending perfectly tie this film with Carpenter's movie. I still believe that the dialogue and script had a few plot holes ,but it was still a great film. I will give it a B+.
Real Steel Review
Watched Real Steel Starring Hugh Jackman and Lost's Evangeline Lilly. The film was very awesome and I though It was going to suck, but it surprised me. The film was thrilling and exciting to watch with just enough characterization. The film's fighting sequence were totally violent and brutal. the film has admittedly corny script, it was well directed and has a fantastic and terrific cast. I thought this film was actually better than the transformers movies way better. It's a great story of the underdog who finally got it right and change their circumstances. The dialogue and script was well written and the directing was great as well. The film was very entertaining, fun and enjoyable. I will give it an A.
Footloose Remake Review
Watched Footloose Remake starring Kenny Wormald, and Julianne Hough. I was very disappointing with this film. I thought the film was like a montage of a music video with hot people, great choreography dance sequences, great music, but horrible acting. The acting in this film was horrible, unconvincing, and lazy except for Miles Teller who plays Willard who outshines the leads of the film. The directing was great, but the dialogue and script was lazy and not well done. the only scenes that were great was the opening scene, the montage sequences where they teach Willard how to dance and the ending. The film had excellent choreographed dance sequences, but it lacks character development, a good script and great acting. The remake is exactly the same as the original because it copied every scene by scene and word for word, and I thought it was a horrible remake. I recommended to skip this film and rent or buy the 1984 original movie starring Kevin Bacon because the remake lacks the six degrees of Kevin Bacon way. It's a D+.

Warrior Review.
Watched Warrior starring The Dark Knight Rises's Tom Hardy, Joel Edgerton, Nick Nolte, and Jennifer Morrison. I have to agree with the Schmoes Know that this film is one of the best mixed martial arts film ever made and one of the best films of 2011. The film has exceptional and well crafted mixed martial arts sequences with gripping action, brutality and violence of the sport. It was appropriately blunt, powerful and relentless with riveting and convincingly real performances by Tom Hardy, Joel Edgerton, and Nick Nolte. The film was beautifully directed and well written that made this film flawlessly excellent. The film was an epic, beautiful film, with a completely shocking twist. I will give it an A++++.
Contagion Review
Watched Contagion starring Academy Award Winners Marion Cotillard, Matt Damon, Kate Winslet and Gwyneth Paltrow. The film was exceptionally smart, scary, tightly plotted, and very entertaining. I believe the film is one of the best movies made to date about an epidemic/pandemic since outbreak. The film was gripping from start to finish and very intense with incredible and fantastic performances of this stellar cast. The film was astonishingly well written and directed that is shot with documentary grimness. The film shows relative realism to the plot and nail-biting premise to this story. I will give it an A+.
50/50 Review
Watched 50/50 starring Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Seth Rogen. The film was an excellent, heartfelt and extremely funny film about a difficult topic of cancer. The film was absolutely delightful film to watch and Its a perfect roller-coaster film of emotions with a great charismatic cast. Moneyball Review
Watched Moneyball starring Brad Pitt and Johan Hill. The film was a sharp, funny, and touching portrait worthy of baseball. The film is one of the best films of the year and The film was emotional, smart, and deepest sports film since Sandra Bullock's The Blind Side. Brad Pitt is at the top of his game, with his fierce and outstanding performances of his career, and an Oscar worthy winning performance. The film was well written and directed with an amazing well cast with excellent performances by Johan Hill and Pitt. I will give it an A+.
Killer Elite Review
Watched Killer Elite starring Jason Statham, Clive Owen, and Robert De Niro. I thought the film was a decent film, but mostly forgettable, thriller that has an intriguing plot and solid character development, but isn't a well-made film. I thought It had good action sequences, but it had horrible poorly written script. The performances of Statham, Owen, and De Niro was amazing. The plot is bloated and overstuffed. There is a lot going on and a lot of characters to keep track of, as well as double crosses. I will Give it a C.

Crazy, Stupid, Love Review
Crazy, Stupid, Love Starring Steve Carell, Ryan Gosling, Julianne Moore, Emma Stone Marisa Tomei and Kevin Bacon. I thought the film was one of the best romantic comedies of this year. It was very sweet, smart, and touching film. The film conveys both the joys of being in love and all of the potential pain it can bring. I love the chemistry between all the main characters with an outstanding cast. The film is a heartfelt romantic comedy that has a strong story and characters and I thought it was very well written and directed. It's an A-.

30 Minutes or Less Review.
30 Minutes or Less Starring Jesse Eisenberg, Aziz Ansari, Danny McBride and Nick Swardson. The film was hilarious and very entertaining , but the movie isn't great though and it has it's problems because it was not written well enough to have a successful plot and story. The film does delivers a blend of action, violence and funny moments. The performances from all the actors were good and satisfying. The film was very short, but got to the point. the film still suffers from a cliche and formulaic dark comedy film. I will Give it a C+.
Final Destination 5 Review.
Final Destination 5 Starring Heroes Nicholas D'Agosto, and Emma Bell. The film is actually a prequel to the first Final Destination film. The film contain some of the most fun special effects ever seen that purely enhance the thrills and bloody spills, especially the bridge-crumbling sequence at the beginning of the film. It was better than part 4 of the series. The death scenes were totally suspenseful, creative and shocking. I will give it a B+.
The Help Review.
Watched The Help starring Easy A's Emma Stone, Viola Davis, Octavia Spencer, Bryce Dallas Howard. The film was outstanding, very entertaining, and very touching. The film will make you laugh at times, but it can also break your heart. the film gives you powerful performances given by Viola Davis and scene stealer Octavia Spencer as two disenfranchised heroes. It was beautifully written and directed with a nicely well cast of wonderful performances. I like how one person's courage to make change, can give disenfranchised people a voice. I will give it A+++.

Rise of the Planet of the Apes Review
Watched Rise of the Planet of the Apes starring James Franco and Freida Pinto. It was one of the best films of the summer. It was a beautifully told story, it was very well directed and written. The special effects and the CGI were astonishingly effective and very impressive. It has a mesmerizing performance by Andy Serkis who plays CGI version of Caesar the ape. The film was worthy, exciting, emotional and the apes will rise with a likely sequel. It had good performances from the actors and all I have to say is All hail Caesar. Its an A+++++.
Cowboys and Aliens Review
Watched Cowboys and Aliens starring Daniel Craig, Harrison Ford, and Olivia Wilde. The film was very well made and directed, but this could have been a good western if the aliens didn't show up. I did not like the whole Sci-fi mixing with Western because It did not work in this film. The script was very lazy and underdeveloped. It had great performances by Graig, Ford, and Wilde. There was not much action sequences and there are so many plot holes in this film. It was entertaining , but nothing very exciting happens in the film. It's a C+.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 Review.
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2. The film was amazing with powerful performances, awesome special effects, visually dazzling, tons of action and death. The film started with a whimper and ended the series with a huge bang. The film was very entertaining and very satisfying and is one of the most faithful adaptations of any source material I have seen in years. The film was beautifully written and fantastically directed. I still believe it was very fast-paced, exciting and highly entertaining. I will Give it an A+++++.
A Better Life Review.
Watched A Better Life about an illegal immigrant gardener in East Los Angeles struggles to keep his son away from gangs while avoiding immigration enforcement agents and searching for a stolen truck. The film was genuinely touching, sincere and credible. It was very entertaining and has a very thoughtful story about values of heart, hard work, self-respect, and self-reliance . Pretty accurate of the hard working lives of these "Undocumented Aliens" in the USA. Demián Bichir the actor who played the father was fantastic and deserve an Oscar Nomination. I will give it an A+.

Bad Teacher Review
Watched Bad Teacher starring Cameron Diaz. The film had hilarious parts, but is never as funny as it should be. I really enjoyed the excellent performance of Cameron Diaz. I thought Diaz and Timberlake had good chemistry, cause they used to date, but there scenes still seemed awkward. It was very entertaining and it was fairly amusing. I thought the script was poorly written and the film was saved because of the performances of the actors. I still thought that Timberlake was horrible in the film and he is a horrible actor anyways. I will give it a C+.
Monte Carlo Review
Watched Monte Carlo Starring Selena Gomez, Gossip Girl's Leighton Meester and Melrose Place's Katie Cassidy. The film's scenery is pretty, it has charming moments and it was agreeably well cast. Transformers 3: Dark of the Moon Review.
Watched Transformers 3: Dark of the Moon. I thought the film's last 1 hour and 10 min were totally awesome because it had tons of action sequences, it had human emotion, and awesome special effects. The rest of the film was a piece of crap, but at least it was better than Transformers 2. The film suffers from an incoherent plot, wooden characters and horrible dialog. I think Michael Bay still hasn't learn that impressive action sequences don't make up for woeful acting and no character development. I thought it had horrible acting from Shia LaBeouf who is the worst actor in the world and newbie English model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley has horrible acting skills. She was just eye candy because she is so hot. I thought Megan Fox was actually better because she had presence and at least she fought some robots. Ehren Kruger who butchered Scream 3 and the rewrites of Scream 4 did a horrible job writing for this film. I will Give it a C-.
