Sinister Review.

Watched Sinister starring Ethan Hawke and Vincent D'Onofrio. The film was very scary and very entertaining. The film delivers a surprising number of fresh, diabolical twists and despite its faults, there's something undeniably powerful about the film that just make it very rare virtue. The film does suffer from a lot of countless recycles genre clichés and it’s very formulaic structure film. By
using a traditional cinematography along with the found footage of the super 8 movies the main character discovers, director Scott Derrickson fashions drama around a most unpleasant spirit. The films script and dialogue was smartly written with great character development and a very simple plot to the story. The Director Scott Derrickson did an amazing job developing a very eerie atmosphere of the sets and the disturbing super 8 videos of horrific crimes being committed. I believe this film is one of the best modern horror films of this year and it’s the most effective mainstream effort since "Insidious." Ethan Hawke gave one of the most eerie and amazing performance on this film. The films special effects and visual effects were just amazing and magnificently done. The film in general was just incredibly scary and very disturbing. I thought the ending of this film was just brilliant and very diabolically effective. I will give it a B+.

Alex Cross Review.

Watched Alex Cross starring Tyler Perry and Matthew Fox. I thought the movie was a decent film, but it just very dull. The main reason the film did not work at all was the horrible and tasteless, lazily written script and dialogue. The script and dialogue had some pretty cheesy lines; it seemed very rushed and forcedly written. The film was strangely edited at times and poor camera work on
multiple scenes. The only thing I really enjoyed from the film was two magnificent performances by Tyler Perry and Matthew Fox. Matthew Fox was incredibly magnificent as a psychopathic killer. Fox performance was sick, deranged, and absolutely outstanding. This film is just worth seeing for Matthew Fox's amazing transformation. Tyler Perry is a powerful screen presence with big shoes to fill considering that Morgan Freeman played the part first. Tyler Perry gave the role such a vulnerable and intensity that he hold his own in this movie. The action sequences in the film were very standard and well done with a frustrating direction by Rob Cohen. The film was still slick, fast-paced and very entertaining to watch. I will give it a C-.

Paranormal Activity 4 Review.

Watched Paranormal Activity 4 starring Katie Featherston. I though The movie was just plain dull. The movie was not even scary and it did not bring anything new to the table. What The film really lack was the chills and thrills of the first movie. It was very slow movie and it did not get to the good parts until almost to the end. The story and the plot from this movie was just horrible because
it really did not have anything new to the film which has run out of ideas. It really makes a truly lame attempt at establishing a supernatural mythology to explain all this occurrences which ultimately fails to do. I felt that the movie was so rushed with the script and dialogue being badly written and the editing of the films was badly done. The ending of the film was just horrible done and at least the acting was good. This movie is one of the worst films I seen this year and I will give it an F.
